Nature of ServicesCoaching, Not Therapy
Dr. Kassel does not hold an active clinical license and does not provide therapy, psychological treatment, diagnosis, or any legally privileged or HIPAA-protected service. This is coaching — structured, goal-oriented support drawing on his clinical and forensic background. It is not a substitute for therapy or medical/psychiatric care, and does not include forensic evaluation, sex-offender treatment, or any court-related or court-mandated service.
Session Types & FeesWhat You're Booking
- Initial consultation (25 min) — $75, credited toward your first package or session if you move forward.
- Single session — $275.
- Standard coaching packages — $800–$1,400/month.
- Intensive tier — $1,800–$2,500/month.
- Lifestyle Assessment package — $1,500 (individual) or $3,500 (couples), paid in full at enrollment.

AttendanceCancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Initial consultation: the $75 fee is non-refundable if the consultation is missed or cancelled with less than 1 business day's notice. One reschedule is allowed with adequate notice.
Single sessions and package sessions: please provide at least 1 business day's notice to reschedule or cancel. A session cancelled or missed with less than 1 business day's notice is considered used — it is not eligible for a refund or a make-up session. Occasional exceptions may be made at Dr. Kassel's discretion for genuine emergencies.
Lifestyle Assessment packages (Individual and Couples): the same 1 business day's notice applies to every session within the package. A session cancelled or missed with less than 1 business day's notice is considered used against the package. The package fee is paid in full at enrollment and is non-refundable, regardless of how many included sessions are ultimately used.
BillingPayment Terms
- Consultations and single sessions are paid at the time of booking.
- Monthly packages are billed in advance for each billing period.
- Lifestyle Assessment packages are billed in full at enrollment, covering all included sessions.
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- Coaching may be discontinued at any time; fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable, and no further charges apply going forward.
PrivacyConfidentiality
Sessions are private, but coaching does not carry the same legal confidentiality protections as licensed therapy, such as therapist-patient privilege. If legal confidentiality matters for your situation, factor that into your decision to proceed.
